The International Belgrade Singers (IBS) are proud to announce two Christmas Concerts in Belgrade: on 10th December at 8pm at the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall; and on 14th December at 7pm at the Canadian Embassy.
IBS is a non-profit choir that was formed in February 2012. Its motto is “give back to the community in which we live”. It performs concerts twice a year to raise funds for local charities. IBS’s members come from the diplomatic and expatriate communities, as well as other Serbian choirs – currently representing 14 countries! Under conductor Katarina Milošević, the IBS Choir specialises in performing an international repertoire, attesting to the international love of choral singing.
The Choir is very grateful for the continuing support of the Canadian Embassy in Serbia, which not only kindly hosts the choir for rehearsals, but also traditionally provides the venue for the annual Christmas Concert. Special thanks also goes to the EU Info Centre, where the Choir has lately also held rehearsals, and the Belgrade Philharmonic, for hosting this year’s first Christmas concert on 10th December.
