Antonis Remos

Antonis Remos is the best male singer of the Greek music scene today. When a talented singer from Thessaloniki sang alongside the biggest stars in 1995, Sony BMG Greece recognised that talent and offered him a contract, and his first album, Antonis Remos (1996), reached platinum status.

A star was thus born. During his career, which had a whirlwind rise, Antonis Remos collaborated with leading Greek composers and singers, and each new album surpassed prior success. After the album in 1996, it was followed by Kairos Parakato Pamela (1998). Pali Ap'Tin Archi (1999), which were also sold in the millions of copies in 2001. Antonis recorded a double CD album - Live from Club Apollo Mia nihta mono (2001) - which sold over two million copies and earned double platinum status. Hits from the album last to this day and represent his first unofficial The Best Of (Pali Ap Tin Archi, Etsy Hafnika, Filaraki, We Zitas Signomy, and Apopse), and Antonis continues to enjoy success.

Each new album is awaited with great anticipation and trepidation and expected that it will reach the success of the previous ones. By carefully selecting associates with Remos, the next two albums broke all records. Kardia Mou Min Anisiheis (2002, 3X Platinum), Mia Anapnoi (2003, 3X Platinum), the album which certainly contains the best known songs of Remos (S'Ekdikithika, Kardia mou min, Ela Na Me Teliosis, and Agapi mu). Success is expanding beyond the borders of Greece, and the title track from the album Kardia Mou Min Anisiheis became a big hit that year in Serbia.
